Interesting game. I enjoyed playing it. The atmosphere and art are 100% its strong suits. The only thing is that areas became dangerous really fast. I got all the upgrades to prevent this from happening and it still was dangerous after night one (maybe because I was sleeping on a bench, but I'm not sure if that makes an area dangerous faster) I was also in an area without a back road that I could go on, so there was no escape when it became dangerous. And I was also told I still needed to go to my job in a previous area, even though I couldn't backtrack to the area it was in. I quickly learnt that dangerous areas (Or at least, the area I was in, because I think there are different types of dangerous areas) just means I get hit like 5 times while I walk to work, which isn't a big deal. These are just a few minor things, but overall good little game! :)
Thanks for playing! You're definitely right about the speed of areas becoming dangerous. I've heard that from pretty much every playtester I've had, so I'll definitely have to tone it down a bit (The problem is just that it's difficult to balance...). The area without the new path is definitely a bug, I'll take a look at that to see if I can replicate it. And yes, there are currently 3 types of dangers, not just that one. I would've made more, but I was pretty pressed on time (this was made for a school project).
